Czech hackers were
so disgusted by the lack of professional skills of the NPPA's webmaster Sue
Veldkamp that they didn't resist to the temptation of inventing a joke on her:
No
wonder that the NPPA site is incurring so many problems - the webmaster is
suffering of schizophrenia.
The
diagnosis is the following: One half of her split personality can write the HTML
and the other one can use a FTP client. As they are perpetually in
conflict, they cannot cooperate and you can see the results on her site.
Czech hackers were
in reality too kind with the lady! If you would ever feel any compassion with

unique programming languages used on the page (in order to enjoy it fully, just
open the HTML source). I recommend to your attention the last Sue's posting into
this indefinable piece of artwork, especially the part speaking about the

"I followed the case of Leonard Peltier since a long time ago. I studied a
lot of material on this and related issues. Your site is strongly tendentious
and demagogic. You are trying to manipulate those who had the bad luck of
browsing into your pages by presenting them half truths or even flagrant lies.
Do you want an example? Here it is:
You say: "Peltier has shown everyone what he is all about. For those who
believe in his guilt and oppose clemency or parole, they are vindicated. For
those who have championed his cause and embraced his proclaimed innocence, he
has failed them and their efforts," which should be proven by the fact
that Peltier called the President Clinton to be a "sleazebag". If you
would read the mentioned Peltier's statement more carefully, you would notice
that he called "sleazebags" politicians in general and not the
President. And every sound person who ever had any dealings with politicians
must agree with his evaluation of their integrity related to the fulfillment of
pre-electoral promises.
A half of my life I lived under the Communist regime of former Czechoslovakia. I
was involved with the opponents to this regime - "dissidents". I had
to leave my country under the threat of being imprisoned for a long time for my
political activities (nothing violent, only an attempt to set up and publish a
literary magazine). I can honestly say that I knew very well the methods of
Communist political police (on my own skin). So in spite of being a foreigner,
with no relation to the USA, I feel competent to my following statement: The
methods used by the FBI in the Peltier's case and in its activities against the
AIM and against the Native Americans in general strongly remind me the methods
used by the Communist secret police STB against the Czechoslovak dissident
movement. With the only difference, that the Communists did not openly murder or
allowed to murder so many dissidents as the FBI et alia did on the territory of
Indian reservations.
Do you really believe that the funds that you're probably receiving from the FBI
are worth of such a shame?

Just to show you, how much counter-productive are your efforts to discredit
Leonard Peltier, I announce you that a campaign for Mr. Peltier's release has
been launched in the Czech Republic, a country which population was almost
absolutely unfamiliar with his case until now. I published an article explaining
his case including a Czech translation of the text of the petition calling for
his release at PetitionOnline.com, together with a call for signatures. The site
where it is posted is one of the most visited sites in our country. And this is
just a beginning! Are you satisfied of the impact of your site? Don't you think
that you should better shut it down before it makes more harm to your abject
cause? Personally, I would prefer you to keep on, so other people could find
there a similar inspiration, as I did.

"I read your notice to call the President and Congress to tell them what
Leonard thinks and says about the President. Last I saw, talking badly about our
leaders is not against the law. If that was the case, all the Republican

"With all due respect, the purpose of the NPPA is not to discredit Peltier,
he has done a fairly good job of doing that to himself with his own actions and
statements. The purpose is to counter the unfounded allegations and
misinformation placed in the public forum by the LPDC. Coming, as you do, from a
country struggling for independence and self-determination for its people,
please remember that twelve-million-soviet-citizens (allegedly, according to the
LPDC) signed petitions for Peltier's release. Considering the history of what
the communists did to your people and nation, perhaps Peltier is not a good
cause to fight. All things considered, he would have fared infinitely worse had
he been accused of killing two soviet agents. Understand that the NPPA is not
rearguing Peltier's case. That has been done repeatedly. He had numerous
attorneys and appeals and after nine reviews, the courts still find him guilty.
But perhaps you may have missed an important point, the NPPA's arguments are
based on what Peltier, himself, has said. That's the purpose of the site. Let's
listen to Peltier. One important thing he said, repeatedly over several years,
is that he knew who killed the agents. There is absolutely no misunderstanding
this point. Not giving up the killer's name, he called him Mr. X. Well, Peltier
would now like everyone to forget he offered that alibi to all his supporters.
He lied to them, and now you. If he was so willing and able to offer such a
specific lie to everyone, why should we believe his protestations of
innocence?"

Crazy Horse ( His horse was crazy) hated "whites" and the Govt. BUT he

Who wants to tell Mathiesen he was hoodwinked? Sitting Bull (the Sitting Bull
Standing) was Hunkpapa so that won't help Leonard. Little bit of news. Crazy
Horse and Sitting Bull were both said to have a mental illness. Some tribes
honor those afflicted. It is considered very powerful medicine and a gift of the
Great Spirit. Others don't. Myrtle Poor Bear is from a Tribe that did
historically honor those afflicted. Leonard had lots of girlfriends per his
family recollections of him."

site to see it! The amazing number of seventy-two (72) signatures had left me

probably why you post such nonsense here, your solitude had to damage your
intellectual capacities. One should feel compassion with handicapped people (and

in my country, our president Vaclav Havel comes to the USA for State visits,

the feeling that all your emphasis on differences between tribes that you expose
here is in reality destined to create and invigorate old tensions and hates
between Native Americans. Maybe you don't realize it yourself, but it is the
impression you make. And as I could have noticed, I am not the only one who
feels like this. I can hardly imagine that a genuine Native American could do
such a thing. Listen, Donna, I had a dream. And if you are a real Native
American as you pretend, you should consider it with a great attention as your
ancestors were used to do. I saw you in that dream, but I couldn't see any
Indian woman in front of me. The woman that I saw was white without a single
drop of Indian blood and her name was Sue, not Donna. And then the dream
switched to a very different scene. I saw computers so angry and tired of the
lies that they were used to read on these pages that they decided to disable
them. Well, then I woke up and realized that I was sitting in front of my
computer (again I was working late and it was around 5 A.M.) and was trying to
get on your guestbook, I just had a little nap. All I could see was: "Page
not found". The Czech playwright Karel Capek wrote already in 1920 a drama
"R.U.R." where he introduced the term of "robot" in the
world literature. It is derived from a Czech word that means "forced
labor". Robots in this beautiful play are finally more human that human
beings themselves. Maybe the bots remembered of which nationality was the man
who gave them their name and just couldn't support your attacks on me!
